Introduction to the current investment projects
ⅠHome Textiles dyeing projects
    The construction of two medium-grade or high-grade broadband home textiles dyeing production line: one kind of width is 320cm, the other is 280 cm. The annual production capacity is about 27 million meters, of which the printing fabrics are 12 million meters, the dyeing fabrics are11 million meters, and the bleaching fabrics are 4000000 meters. The total invested capital is about 210 million yuan.
     The major equipment will be imported from abroad, and part of them will use advanced equipment produced by domestic companies. The imported equipment will cost about 10.2 million euros, and the cost of the domestic equipment will be about 36 million yuan.
     The project requires the new wide printing and dyeing workshop, whose construction area covers an area of about 33,000 square meters of which the main workshop is 22,000 square meters, the attaching workshops are 4800 square meters, and the warehouse is 6,000 square meters.
     The project will be in construction and begin to produce in 2007.
Ⅱ Knitting weaving, yarn-dyed projects
    Construction projects include a knitting large garden weaving workshop with 200 knitting machines, a yarn-dyed workshop matching with the capability of knitting, a dyeing workshop with an annual production capacity of 4,000 tons. The total investment of the project is expected to be 200 million.
     This project produces top-grade and ordinary products. Its main products are top-grade T-shirts knitted fabric (including double mercerized, double singeing T-shirt fabric); high-grade elastic knit fabric; velvet pieces of knitted fabrics and knitted jean and so on.
The dyed yarns produced in the yarn dyeing workshop are mostly used for the knitting and weaving, partly used as yarn-dyed fabrics for car seats produced by the Company?ˉs joint venture, and partly offered to the company?ˉs home textiles weaving project to weave decorative cloth such as yarn-dyed bed products, tablecloths, curtains cloth.
     Most equipment of this project are introduced from Germany, Italy, and some equipment is to be made in factories in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other regions.
     The project is to be constructed and complete for production in about 2007.
Ⅲ Automotive textile project
    Dongfeng Yueda Kia Motors Factory, plant of Yueda Group, now produces 130,000 passenger cars. The second plant is being expanded now and is expected to be fully put into production. By that time it will have an annual production capacity of 300,000 cars and the total production capacity will reach an annual output of 450,000.
     Also as a plant of the Yueda Group, Yueda Textile Co. Ltd will carry out its second-phase project which will covers an area of 1,800 acres, so that it can match the cars of Dongfeng Yueda Kia car Corp. by producing car industrial fabrics, mainly including automotive seat fabrics, automotive molding carpet, security steam capsule, roof cloth, sound insulation and heat insulation materials. That co-production of high-tech fibers, including carbon fiber, aromatic fiber, etc, and the production of such products as tire cord fabric and automotive shell using the above mentioned fibers are intended to be considered.
     This project will be actualized in 2008.
